Asha Shelton 
Speech-Language Pathologist 

  • Asha is a Speech-Language Pathologist based in Toronto, Canada. She is certified with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and has over 10 years experience since earning her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Toronto in 2013 and currently holds an appointment as Adjunct Lecturer.

  • With a focus in the field of adult neurogenic disorders, she will complete comprehensive assessments, create individualized treatment plans and set achievable goals, creating a roadmap to progress while helping you stay motivated along the way. 

​​

  • With experience working on an interdisciplinary team, Asha will support client-centered management by promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and comprehensive care.​

​​

  • Her international experiences have supported her path to becoming a culturally competent clinician. Exposure to different cultures, languages, and customs allows her to better understand and relate to patients from diverse backgrounds. 

​​

  • Over the course of her career, she has realized her passion for stroke care across the continuum and has been awarded the Toronto Stroke Networks, Excellence in Stroke Care Award in 2022.
